FOUNDER

RODRIGO GUTIERREZ

Corialent

12 years ago, Rodrigo decided that the Coca Colas of the world shouldn’t be the only ones who get to have all the fun in the advertising industry. He was sick of all the dull, corporate, navy blue and white B2B work out there. Business people are people too. Corialent specializes in B2B marketing that doesn’t suck. And they want to get the rest of the industry drinking that delicious KoolAid.

Body Language Training

Building Rapport with the opposite sex doesn't have to be a mystery. Known as "non-verbal expression", body language constitutes 55% of all human-to-human communication, which means that knowing how to read it and utilize it effectively can definitely give you an edge in enhancing your ability to connect with others both inside the workplace and at home. Body language conveys a lot about a person, including whether they are confident or not and how they are likely to respond to certain situations. Therefore, it is important that you take the time and learn how to pick up on these signs and signals and use them to your advantage. Here are just some of the basic ways in which you can master this powerful communication tool.

There are various types of non-verbal and visual cues that can help you gauge the level of comfort and rapport that others are experiencing with you. Pay attention to subtle signs such as raised eyebrows, widened eyes, averted or pursed lips, as well as various forms of body movement and subtle shifts in posture. These gestures can help you gauge the degree of cultural differences, as well as individual personality traits and preferences. One of the best tools when it comes to understanding and using the signals of other people is a training course on the basics of Body Language. These are the signals that let you know whether a person is comfortable talking to you, or if they are holding back a bit.

The first step in building rapport is learning the proper way to use body language training exercises. While watching television and movies, pay special attention to the various facial expressions of both the actors and the characters you are watching. You can easily pick up on subtle movements that help convey different emotions and messages. Pay special attention to the facial expressions of the character you are watching, and try to note which of his/her expressions suggest a relaxed state of mind, and which displays one of tension or concern. This simple exercise can go a long way in helping you understand how to communicate more effectively with others. You will also learn the gestures that communicate urgency or humor, as well as those that convey embarrassment or sorrow.

Another great body language training tool is to practice interpreting non-verbal communications from an expert, such as a trainer, coach, or speech pathologist. By understanding and interpreting non-verbal communications you will better understand your partner's needs and feelings, and better understand what kind of messages you should be sending to ensure communication success. A coach may use a "mirroring" technique where he watches you while you give an explanation of something to someone else. By doing this, he will notice certain non-verbal cues that can help him interpret your explanation better than you would do by yourself. This can be a great help in developing more effective, efficient communication strategies.

When communicating with an individual, a coach also needs to pay attention to how you stand, sit or walk when communicating with them. For example, if you are sitting across from someone, and you have your back towards them, it may be difficult to initiate conversation. The same holds true for gestures, such as faking eye contact when you talk.

Body language training can also include learning how to improve your non-verbal communication skills. Your non-verbal communication (NVC) skills are also used during interactions with other individuals. Therefore, it is important that you pay attention to what you are saying and how you are holding yourself physically. NVC is the ability to effectively communicate through non-verbal means such as hand gestures, facial expressions and body language.

One of the most important benefits of body language training is learning how you can use these communication skills to overcome communication barriers and succeed. NVC is one of the key ingredients in building rapport and persuading individuals to meet your needs. In fact, many individuals that suffer from social anxiety disorder (SAD) and other social phobias benefit from learning these techniques. By using body language training, individuals will learn how to use their head, torso and body correctly in order to increase their chances of getting what they want. For example, by using NVC to suggest that you want to go out on a date, you will be able to tell them that you are willing to go out on a date and you will then gain their trust and confidence.

Individuals who are not confident in their own abilities, and have low self-esteem often benefit from these techniques. In order to improve your own self-confidence and build rapport with other individuals, body language training is the ideal solution. By using the correct techniques and methods, you will be able to overcome your shyness and lack of confidence. Although this approach takes more time and effort than simply reading a book on non-verbal communication skills, it is definitely worth the effort because you will gain more control over your life. In the end, you will realize that this form of therapy will work for you whether you are trying to rebuild your broken relationship, or you just want to be more assertive and confident in your interactions with other individuals.
